Terms of Service
These terms are a plain-language starting point for using Mascotline. Have a lawyer review them before you treat them as final for a store submission or commercial launch.
The service
Mascotline lets you explore mascot designs, lock a visual identity, generate scene images that are checked for drift, export assets, and optionally call render endpoints with an API key. Features available to you depend on your account, free quota, and credit balance.
Accounts
You must provide accurate account information and keep access to your account secure. You are responsible for activity that happens under your account. Do not share API keys publicly; revoke a key if it may have been exposed.
Credits and payments
Some actions consume credits after free quotas are used. Credit packs are sold as prepaid top-ups. Prices shown in the product come from the live pricing catalog. Credits do not expire. Purchases are processed by our payment provider; receipts and refund handling follow that provider’s flow and applicable law. Local consumer-protection law applies where it gives you stronger rights than these terms.
Acceptable use
You may use the service for lawful purposes. You must not:
- Attempt to bypass quotas, credit metering, drift gates, or other technical limits.
- Probe, disrupt, or overload the service beyond normal product use.
- Upload or request content that is illegal, that infringes others’ rights, or that violates our content rules.
- Resell access to the service in a way that hides you as the account holder without our written permission.
Your content and commercial use
You retain whatever rights you have in the prompts and materials you submit. Subject to these terms and applicable law, you may use images generated for your account commercially without attributing Mascotline. Commercial use of outputs does not mean every jurisdiction treats AI-generated imagery as your exclusive intellectual property. You are responsible for checking that your use of outputs does not infringe others’ rights.
We do not claim a license to train new public models on your private mascot library, reuse your creations in other customers’ accounts, or display them publicly without your direction.
Termination
You may stop using the service and request account deletion at any time. We reserve the right to suspend or refuse service to accounts that abuse the service or attempt to bypass its limits. We may also suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, create legal risk, or fail to pay for purchased credits when payment fails after a reasonable attempt to resolve it. Where practical we will explain the reason; we may act immediately when abuse, fraud, or security risk requires it.
Disclaimers
The service is provided as available. Image generation and automated checks can fail, retry, or produce results you do not like. We do not guarantee uninterrupted uptime or that every generation will pass the drift gate on the first try.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Mascotline and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or business interruption arising from your use of the service. Our aggregate liability for claims relating to the service is limited to the greater of (a) the amounts you paid us for credits in the three months before the claim or (b) fifty US dollars. Some places do not allow certain limitations; in those places our liability is limited only to the extent the law allows. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence where that rule applies.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws applicable to the operator of Mascotline, without regard to conflict-of-law rules that would choose a different jurisdiction. Courts in that same place may hear disputes, except that local consumer-protection law applies where it gives you stronger rights, including any right to bring claims in your home courts.
